Newfoundland June 2010

The first picture I'm saying goodbye to Brenda who works at The Narrows B&B. As you can see the buildings are tall and narrow. But really nice inside, restored old buildings that have alot of charm. She was such a delightful person. We will ge going back there on Wednesday night for one night. I'm standing in Bay Bulls where we had lunch. O'Brien Boat Tour run out of there and we will be going back there for a boat tour on a Zodiac to watch for whales, icebergs and Puffin birds. Can't wait for that one! This next picture I'm just looking down this rugged coast on the Micheleens Path.

We went for a hike called Micheleens Path. We hiked over lush sea meadows and cliff edges with vantage points overlooking impressive coves, sea stacks and gulches. Martin is sitting on a cliff edge with the waterfall falling into a beautiful gorge. The pictures just don't do it justice.

These two pictures below is Ferryland which is one of the first English settlements in North America. There is alot of history here. We had dinner here overlooking this bay and was just lovely.

Okay, I'll see how this blog turns out before I go on!! But it's beautiful here and we're having such a good time and meeting such wonderful people and seeing such incredible scenery.
